Wedding Day Services

If you are looking for a quiet natural venue for your wedding ceremony and accommodation, Margaret will be happy to help make your special day a memorable one.

We have a purpose-built covered deck opening out from the Reception Centre which can accommodate about 100 guests at tables or 150 guests in stand up cocktail format.

With our lovely gardens and lake, you can have your photos taken at the same venue which means you don’t have to travel.

Once the wedding is over, the bridal party and attendants can stay overnight and relax in our Lodge with 4 queens rooms, each with their own private ensuites.

NRE Facility Inclusions
  • Use of the 34-acre property amongst the majestic Jarrah forest, for up to 120 people.
  • Access to the property and venue areas from midday on the day before the wedding until midday on the day after the wedding (2 nights), allowing ample time for setting up.
  • Choice of several outdoor grassed ceremony areas set amongst trees, with garden gazebo, seating for 40 guests, and a table and 2 chairs for signing of the Marriage Certificate.
  • Exclusive use of the Lodge. Guests can book chalets separately.
  • Cockatoo Lodge comprises several distinct areas for use by the booking group;
  • Lounge/Dining area of approx. 85m2 suitable for casual seating or seated dining for 50 – 60 people, with wood fire and reverse cycle air conditioning.
  • Rear courtyard with casual seating, fire pit and bbq for the morning after breakfast.
  • Covered Front Deck with expansive views of the property and adjacent forest, which will comfortably accommodate up to 120 people for seated dining and dance area, or casual cocktail style reception.
  • Fenced grassed and flower bed area in front of the Lodge suitable for the wedding ceremony and/or drinks for guests during the photography period after the wedding ceremony.
  • Large country kitchen for booking group or external caterers uses – twin electric ovens, dishwasher, ss bench, kitchen appliances and utensils, and 2 large fridges.
  • A grand staircase leads upstairs to 4 well-appointed queen-sized bedrooms with ensuites and reverse cycle air conditioning. Adjoining the bedrooms is a lovely sitting room opening to a balcony overlooking the grounds and forest, providing an ideal relaxation place separate to the ground floor lounge.
  • Cockies bar with large fridge, sink and glasses. 2 NRE staff operate the bar and collect glasses during the Reception. The Bridal Couple supplies all their own drinks.
  • Outdoor gas heaters.
  • Separate female and male restrooms on Lodge ground floor, accessible from the external deck.
  • There are also 6 self-contained chalets away from the Lodge, set amongst the trees. 5 of the chalets sleep 4 – 5 people and Kookaburra Chalet has disabled access provisions and sleeps 8 people.
  • Cockatoo Lodge – 4 large Queen bedrooms with en suites.
  • Blue Wren Chalet – 2 x double bedrooms, separate bathroom, lounge and kitchen.
  • Red Robin Chalet – 1 x Queen bedroom and a separate room with 2 single beds, separate bathroom, lounge and kitchen.
  • Kookaburra Chalet – 2 x Queen bedrooms, separate room with 3 single beds and a separate room with 1 single bed, separate bathroom, lounge and kitchen.
  • Chuditch Chalet – 1 Queen bedroom and a separate room with 3 single beds, separate bathroom, lounge and kitchen.
  • Kangaroo Chalet – 1 Queen bedroom and a separate room with 3 single beds, separate bathroom, lounge and kitchen.
  • Possum Chalet – 1 Queen bedroom and a separate room with 3 single beds, separate bathroom, lounge and kitchen.
  • The accommodation configuration provides 28 beds of which there are 10 Queen, 2 Double and 16 single beds, and sleeps 40 people. Additional single beds can be placed in some of the bedrooms to provide additional sleeping. People with babies can bring their own bassinettes or 3 folding cots are available.
  • White tablecloths, crockery, cutlery, water jugs.
  • Wine glasses, champagne glasses, and water glasses.
  • Cafe standard, a push-button coffee machine which ground beans and attached milk fridge.
  • 16 blow mould trestle tables 2.4m x 0.9m, 3 round blow mould 1.8m diameter tables, 4 cocktail 0.6m diameter tables, 12 black powder-coated stools, 2 timber picnic tables and 2 rough timber tables and 12 stools.
  • 80 cross back timber chairs, 20 brown fabric padded chairs and 40 white plastic external chairs.
  • Fairy lights and festoon lighting over Front Deck and Rear Courtyard, wine barrels for decoration.
